Richard Steven (Steve) McRary, 74, of Greensboro, North Carolina was escorted home by God’s angels on July 16, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Steve was born on October 28, 1946 in Lenoir, North Carolina to the late Arnold and Allie (Williams) McRary. He served four years in the United States Navy serving on the USS Wasp aircraft carrier. Steve retired from Conoco Phillips at 32 years of service.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Deborah McRary of the home; three sons, Richard McRary of Clayton, NC, Blake McRary of Archdale, NC, and Shane McRary of Gheens, LA; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Mikel, Rylee, Maranda, Taryn, and Kaydence McRary, and Caleb Roberts; and one great granddaughter, Evelyn McRary.
