Norris Kenneth “Kenny” Guy, 64, departed this life on Friday, June 19, 2020. He was surrounded by his loving family. Kenny was born on October 7, 1955 in Englewood, New Jersey. He attended Bergen Community College where he received his degree in Art. He always had a love for painting, sculpting and graphic arts. Kenny worked for Green Lincoln of Greensboro for over ten years and was a sales leader. What he valued most in life though, was his relationship with his God. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and he dedicated his life to assisting others to come to know their creator. Kenny had full faith in the Bible’s promise of a renewed earth by means of God’s Kingdom under the rule of Jesus Christ. He never wavered from his faith and expressed deep appreciation for the resurrection even to the end.
Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife Dilva Guy of Jamestown, North Carolina; one son, Nelson Khristopher Guy; one step-son Luiz Alberto Gomes Carvalho; one step daughter, Ligya Caroline Carvalho; four sisters, Bernice Symes, Denise Allen (Fred), Cynthia Guy, Valerie Tucker and several nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 1-4 pm at Triad Cremation and Funeral Services, 2110 Veasley Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27407.
May he rest in Jehovah's memory while he awaits the promise of the resurrection (Acts 24:15).
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
