Obituary
Mrs. Anita S. Jones passed away peacefully at Clapps Nursing Center of Pleasant Garden, NC, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Jones graduated from Pleasant Garden High School, and Brevard College.
Mrs. Jones was an artist of many beautiful paintings, she had her private pilot airplane license, but she was best known for her beautiful yard filled with gorgeous flowers year-round.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Douglas Jones. Her son Clifton Thomas Jones (Patty), A daughter Alisa Jones Church (Dwayne). Her wonderful grandchildren, Steven Jones (Kayla), Marie Mourning (Kenneth), Nicholas Jones, Garrett Church, and Avery Church.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by parents, H.C. & Helen Smith.
A visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, 1415 Neelley Rd, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313 with a funeral service following at 2pm.
