JoAnn Jackson, (Jo Jo), age 65 of Thomasville NC passed away on January 10th at 9:10 am at Hospice of Davidson County, Lexington NC.
JoAnn was born March, 26th 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She worked many years in the medical field in Kendallville and Lagrange, IN and in Mayfield, KY. She relocated to North Carolina in 1999 with youngest daughter Sabrina.
JoAnn enjoyed reading Steven King books and playing nerf ball with her grandson Aiden. Pepsi, twizzlers and scary movies were her favorite, and we can’t forget shopping.
Growing up she loved music and dancing to the older tunes with her sisters. She had a beautiful voice and sang Rocky Top TN with her mother like she owned it. JoAnn was fun loving and being around family was important to her.
She leaves behind three daughters, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren:

Madison Hicks, Easton Basinger, Noah and Ryan Watkins, Brielle and Graham Perkins and Alexa Darby with 2 more new babies coming this year.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vertie & Ed Campbell and older brother Jimmy
Joann will be greatly missed by her family and friends
A celebration of life for JoAnn will be this summer with her family in Mayfield KY
