Albert Lee Norman, 93, of Asheboro, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House. He was born in Forsyth County to Winnie Edgar and Demy Pearl Norman on February 16, 1924. He graduated from James A. Gray High School and Mars Hill College. Mr. Norman was a WWII veteran serving with the U.S. Army Air Force and attended the Flight of Honor in May 2011.

Mr. Norman retired from Georgia Pacific as a sales representative.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Martha Lawrence Norman; daughters, Marty L. Norman and fiancé, Dave of Asheboro, NC and Nancy N. Huneycutt (Ross) of Lewisville, NC; two grandchildren, Beth Tyndall (Chris) and Lee Stroud (Kristy) both of Asheboro; two great grandchildren, Madison and Jackson Thorpe of Asheboro; one sister, Mary Norman of Winston-Salem, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at North Ridge Church in Asheboro, NC on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
